OK, I admit it, my question could probably be answered if I checked the owner's manual, but you guys seem to have all the answers and get on these threads so promptly! So, what is that noise I hear (kind of a whinning noise) that sounds like it's emanating from the rear of my 2003 Coupe CC, when I open the front driver's door? It lasts about 5 seconds or so then shuts off.

I would add that the sound is great to hear. The day you don't hear that sound could very well be the day you will need to buy a new pump.

You should also hear it when you hit the unlock button on your keyfob.
