I couldn't find a source for them anywhere, so I worked with a buddy in the auto body industry to do it right myself. The process goes like this...

Lightly sand the lenses, apply adhesion promoter, and shoot with a 2 to 1 mixture of clear and black. The more coats, the darker the result. If you do a good job of shooting, that's it. If there's any orange peel you have to do a cut and buff.

A couple pics are attached. I put a post in the market section as well. I can crank these out fairly quickly now that I know what I'm doing. I can't believe there's no aftermarket available out there.

Yeah, tinting would've been easier, but it looks great, esp. on black cars.

Thanks for the feedback. Window tint is meant for interior surfaces. It doesn't have abrasion resistance and would swirl and scratch easily. Also there is no way to seal the edges so the corners tend to peel up. Finally, our GT lights have that sharp ridge that runs down the middle that would be nearly impossible to contour in one piece without any bubbles. On a Nissan I'd say tint may be an option. I think our cars deserve the best!
