Hi again. Although my 2006 cambio coupe manual states service intervals at 6,000 miles (done already) and then at 18,500.... my dealer says it is old information. New intervals are annually. Basically a little service (oil change) one year ($390) followed by a large service (oil and all fluid changes) the next year ($2,000). These alternate and do not include other expenses such as tires or clutch. -Bob.

The factory manual specifies service by miles, or annually if you don't drive much.

My dealer (Algar) recommended *not* wasting money on service until the mileage level had been reached. How's that for a refreshing change? I have been delighted with the service I've received from them over the past few years...

It is a refreshing change, but I think it's still a good idea to change the brake fluid yearly if you plan to keep the car for several years. Or if you don't want to give the dealer or FMNA an excuse to avoid paying out a warranty repair.
