In case anyone is interested, I am selling Maserati. It has been fun, and as you can see from my post count, I loved owning and conversing with all you good people. I am not in a rush to sell, and if I don't find a buyer, I won't be disappointed. Why am I selling...to me, driving a Maserati is a total experience. It is by far the most involving vehicle I have driven. In some respects, it requires a total investment when you get behind the wheel. I find myself, getting into my Benz when hitting the grocery store, cause I can just get from point A to Point b without much effort.

Another reason is that the roads in the Bay Area just suck. Potholes eveywhere...it drives me mad.

As I write this, the car is ready for pickup at a mechanic who I have found locally as an alternative to the dealer who is a good 40 miles from me. I was hearing a clinking in the front suspension and he found that at certain times the Spring was making contact with the lower control arm. He checked it out and rotated the springs and checked the suspension , bushings ,and everything is in tip top shape.

If you are interested, here is a link to an ad I have placed here locally: I will ship and assist in shipping if someone outside the Bay Area is interested.

My plans , if i sell the Spyder are to possibly look at an Aston or a MBZ SL roadster and adding a Kleemann Supercharger to it....

I will still be coming around here daily for now and wish you all the best of drives from your vehicles...

PS---I have more photos if anyone is interested.

demoe, you said "You may be able to save a little bit of cash and get a maserati off ebay, I almost did, and am glad I did not. I have done so before twice and was never happy once the car is shipped to me and received. there was always something which was not disclosed."

can you tell us the stories of those two maseratis that you bought off ebay and what happen to them?

I was a bit unclear in my ad, I have purchased a Dinan 5 and an SL600 off ebay and both were not what I had expected. Never bought a Maserati off ebay. The SL600 was for my dad and to this day he beleives it was used as a drug smuggling vehicle.
