For reasons I won't go into now, I switched off the ignition whilst the roof was opening. Now I get no response when I try to either finish opening it or closing it. Also the windows stay down unless i put the car in neutral when they will clsoe but open again as soon as I switch off the ignition! Anyone any thoughts?

Another approach is to 're-boot' the system by disconnecting the battery using the rotary knob on the battery terminal. Read the manual on how to do this....really easy and fixes many quirky electrical problems you'll encounter. I had to do that once to 'unstuck' my roof.

I had the same problem with a new 2005 Spyder. Twice the car was flatbedded to the Maserati dealer in Tampa and Shelton in Fort Lauderdale and neither dealer could fix the problem. I ended up trading it in for a DB9 and had to hold the roof closed with my hand when I drove to the dealer!
