Jebel Hafeet, according to some automotive journalists, is one of the best driving roads in the world!

While unfortunately we had some rain storms in Dubai and couldn't do the roadtrip this time, I did meet up with Buster67 and his beautiful Coupe GT.

Here are our cars (both are Grigio Nuvolari), his is an '02 GT...best part is he "stole it" from his unappreciative neighbor for $16.5k! :D

Both beautiful examples. And yes, he stole it - what a deal!

I live in Al - Ain and drive a 2002 Spyder and some older Porsches. Do Hafeet several times a week as I work out at the Mercure. The Cambiocorsa is great on the run but I still would prefer a manual.

Dan,

Thanks for the post.

You should definitely connect with Eliot (owner of the '02 Coupe). I just put him in touch with the folks at Max Garage, who are working on his car (Larinis plus new prop shaft).

I'll send you a PM with his details.

Please post pics of your car in the Al Ain locale. Must be fun having Jebel Hafeet as your back road ;)

Cheers,

JP
