Hi everyone,

I tried searching the forum before I made this post.

What is the ET and what do you call it (holedistance?) for a Maserati Coupé Cambiocorsa 2003 model?

like ET40 and 5x112 ? or what?

Regards
Michael

I cannot remember what is the ET come from but I know that it is the Offset value for the wheels. The bolt pattern for the Coupe is 5 x 108. The offset is 62.2 mm for front and 55.5 mm for rear. I think the center bore is the same as Ferrari at 67.1mm but not sure about this one.

guys,

'wheel' question, what are the exact GranSport wheel measurements?

guess
9.5 x 19 inch Rear and (265/30/19 tyres)
8.5 x 19 inch Front (235/35/19 tyres)

right? what if I put 9.5 x 19 also in the front? will that cause
problems?

and.....where can i get those trident center cap's

thanks in advance and cheers

for future reference

if you go to tirerack.com and select your make and model, select a rim, it will show you what the Bolt Pattern and Offset of your vehicle. tirerack only lists rims which have the same offset as your stock wheel.

the 03 Coupe is listed as having a 40mm offset

the 40mm offset is not right. If you use 40mm offset wheels, the tires may rub the wheel well. Look at my previous reply. The front is about 63mm offset. Now I use 48mm offset front wheels(same width) with no rubbing issue.

Per tirerack.com, the 03 Coupe front offset is 55mm and the rear 52mm. i beleive the width of the rim has an affect on the offset. Our cars can take differing widths of wheels

Yes, generally speaking you want to keep backspacing constant - you can work out backspacing using the offset and width.

Note in most modern cars the wheels are hubcentric meaning that the "bore" diameter is CRITICAL to the wheels being safe to use.

The centre caps are available from eurospares.co.uk, Item 004 - Part No 192052.
See page 48 'wheels' from their drop down menu. They are £9.35 each.

BTW that wasn't from the top of my head;-)Its because I have decided to have my 15 spoke wheels powder coated black instead of the new rims route(too many complications and v.expensive) and wanted the darker centre caps(GS dark wheel option)to go with the wheels once painted, still looking for someone to do the job.
By the way what do you guys think of doing this to the wheels? Is it a bad idea(re-sale etc)? The car is Giallo granturismo(yellow) all opinions appreciated.

@singh, excellent, tx a lot!

as for the color combo, i guess i will look great, a friend of mine got
his wheels (15 spoke) painted in dark grey and it looks astonishing!!

i like such combos, my dream would be something like this....

Wow!
That is the nicest looking coupe I have yet seen....those wheels are exactly the wheels I would love on my car but the £4000+ price tag is hard to justify.
Those black inners with the polished rim are always going to look so much better than an all black wheel but I still think black will be an improvement.

BTW that car in the picture being a gransport the guy must have had a set of 19" GS wheels to sell after fitting those aftermarket ones? Also that rear carbon lip spoiler is a nice touch, I think someone mentioned having a job lot of these made up??Ring any bell's?

on the silver GS it looks like BBS Le Mans, there is a guy here in Switzerland
trying to sell a set of rims incl tires for as less as UK Pound 2,400 in total
but not sure about shipping, let me know and I'll wire some contact details.

as for the GS wheels from the above, looks like a swiss picture and we usually
need winter tires so he might have put on some snow tires on his stock wheels.

btw. centercaps already ordered, hope to have them here next week, tx again!

cheers
