Hello. I am the proud new (1 month) owner of a QP. By far the most fun large sedan ever!!! I would appreciate if any one in here from Florida can help me out with two things:
1. Who in South Florida has the "best" Maserati Service Departement? Shelton, The Collection, or Reeves? Any experiences?
2. My passenger side mirror tilts up when I put the car in reverse. Shouldn't it tilt down? Funny, not a serious problem, more humerous.

Thanks for all your input!:)

hi. congrats and welcome!
for the mirror, put in R, (it is now tilting up), adjust to where you want it (looking at the curb) and it will be reprogramed. easy.

In my opinion both Shelton and Collection are very good, taking mine to Collection next time just because of the loaner convenience.

Never heard of Reeves, are you sure they are an authorized Maser dealer? Where are they?

Thanks! I'll try that - you are right that is the way to do it with most any of those systems.

Reeves is in Tampa. They are authorized Hummer, Porsche, Audi, VW and Maserati, I could have forgotten a marque :) I have my 2000 H2 from them and they are good for Hummer. I dunno about Maserati though. I did not like The Collection. I went to buy the QP from them but their arrogance is pretty breathtaking. I ended up getting it from Shelton - Vlad is a good guy to go to there. Thanks for your help there.

Ah, Tampa, that makes more sense.

Curious, Reeves and Collection are ~250 miles apart, wouldn't that be a pretty important factor? Maybe I'm just too lazy...

Well I am sitting in the middle of those two - Ft. Myers area. So both are the same. There are no Maserati Dealers closer  I am in Miami quite frequently though and would prefer a dealer down there - but Collection left a bad impression when I shopped for the QP - I don't know I usually don't have a memory like an elephant just thought that a Maserati dealership should have better customer service ;)

Dear QP,

I live in Naples and have enjoyed my relationship with Shelton. If the car is going in for warranty work that impacts the driveability of the car, Maserati pays to have the car picked up and dropped off at my house (or location of my choosing) in Naples. Maserati also pays for up to five days of rental car service (or longer, if the delay is due to Maserati not getting the part to the dealer in time). I have worked with a number of service technicians, and I recommend Joe Yuliano.

Good luck with your new purchase.

I've heard that a couple of times as well, luckily my experiences have been good (about to buy my 5th car from them). Maybe it boils down to the individuals one ends up dealing with.

Best of luck wherever you decide to go!
