Has anyone else had a problem with the paint cracking on the front bumper where it contacts the fenders? The dealer says it's a common problem, but I haven't seen it on any other Quattroports.

They have repainted the bumper twice and it's still cracking.

I have an 05 QP and there is some paint cracking on the rear bumper.

It's the front bumper where the bumper touches the top of the fenders just to the inside of the headlight assembly on both sides of the car.

I'm trying to find out if others have had this problem and what is causing it.

I would say it is a design flaw.

The bumper probably needs to be torqued on with some foot-pounds, but the way the bumper is designed means that much torque causes too much stress which cracks and spiderwebs the paint.
