Thanks for the info. I had read about this tool in other posts, but I didn't know if it worked for the newer 2007 QP. What does the CAN refer to? Is there any point in getting a higher model number, e.g. the 3140?

I Googled the product name and found a web site with tech data. There were four models offered, I ended up buying one for about $170.00.
