QP glasspack
JohnH - congrats, the black/tan combo does look very nice. Mine is grigio alferi/grey leather, which doesn't look as spectacular, but I prefer a slightly more discreet look of the grey.
Glasspack its indeed by UK company called Pilkinton (inventor of floating glass production method) and although intended for thermal insulation, the strucutre is so thick that it blocks sound as well. Pilkington specialises in all types of glass for special applications:

I have sat in non-glasspack QPs but the sound insulation a subtle thing you start to notice only after a while. From the side windows one can see that the structure is about 10mm thick with two "standard" car windows joined together with a film in between. The rear and side windows in the back are darkened, but not limo-style dark, so you can still see through both ways. For me the glasspack is great and an option actually worth bothering with.
I also have the comfort seats and can say that they are a waste of time. The fan for summer ventilation makes the seat vibrate, so I cannot keen it on. There is a neat detail though with the driver seat: it moves slightly back and the steering column raises when you open the door to make it easier to get out of the car.
Thanks for the tip about parking gear switch, I will try that today and hope that the QP has it as well.
Is it normal to be able to hear the gear changes, for example when braking into a red light and the cambiocorse automatically switching down? Maybe this is thanks to the sound isolation as well...?
