I have a 05 QP duoselect and it runs like a dream, engine fires up 1st time on start up normally.
However everytime I fill up with petrol (sorry! gas) it fails to start and it takes several attempts of switching ignition on / off before she eventually roars into action, then everything is back to mormal till my next visit to the petrol station.
It appears that there is momentarily fuel starvation or power isolation to the ignition circuit .
As anyone else experienced this problem.?
Please save my blushes and embarrasment on the petrol station forecourt, it always attracts a crowd who relish in my dilemma.

Very odd. Only a few possibilities I would think though.

1) There are many vapor lines and purge lines running to the fuel tank with one-way valves, etc. Perhaps you have one that is plugged or inoperative that is doing something weird with the engine venting or carbon canistor.

2) Fuel pump on the fritz. Or fuel pressure regulator. May be releasing some pressure when opening gas cap and regulator has problem getting system back-up to pressure?

3) Gas-cap issue? Vent clogged or seal bad causing pressure issue or vacuum?

Let us know!
