QP driving position

Anyone else notice that the steering wheel is offset to the left of center when you are seated? It may only be in certain configurations with full-function seats. Very annoying that they couldn't get that right.

they got mine right.
looks centered.

i have comfort seats.

sorry but i found it absurd that i have been driving mine for 3 years and not notice that the steering wheel is offet to the left of center, so i took my laser leveler and checked it for myself. and a picture too. sorry i find it annoying that these claims seem to be.. annoying.

what 'certain configurations' caused this off center problem in your QP?

Well M!, looks like you've made the mistake many people make when talking about their Italian cars - "If it's true for mine, it must be true for all of them". These are home made cars, and unfortunately, looks like some of the newer cars are not as thoughtfully put together as yours.

Here are my photos, which show my seat alignment off by about an inch. Does anyone know if there is some way to adjust this without manufacturing a set of custom spacers?
yes, now we can see your real problem.

well for one, your thread started with nothing but a complaint of an annoying issue that is very unusual. you have no picture to back it up. no other QP owners here have this problem. your comment was 'Very annoying that they couldn't get that right.'

and my response was just that i have a problem with comments like that, when overall, my QP is put together very very reasonably well.

these modern maserati's are not home made cars. they are hand made but not home made. there is enough engineering behind it.

if you think they are home made cars and already decided to buy one, live with it.

why don't you just get the dealer to fix this problem instead of complaining here? take your photos and the laser level to your dealer and let them deal with it.
