I have the same car but a 2016. Ran it hard one day, engine smelled like it was burning - odd smell. Wife drove it and next thing I know the engine light comes on, it sputters, stutters, another light comes on and it dies completely. We maneuvered to the side - wife thinks the engine is blown. I call a wrecker but something tells me to also have him bring a few gallons of gas. Sure enough, he gets there, pours in 3 or 4 gallons of gas and away we go. The engine lights took a few days to resolve and drove it easy enough and down to the bottom of the gas before re-filling up.

Car has checked out before and after with zero issues so it appears to have been gas quality.

Note: the price for wrecker service delivered 93 octane gas is $30/gallon in Georgia :)

Good luck on your car - that year is a good one - friend has one and 203 on an airport runway wasn't an issue for him in that year QP GTS.

On an unrelated note - Do check on the 2 recalls though just for 2013-2016 GTS's - the one where the gas pedal gets stuck due to the driver side matt and one about a rear suspension or axel recall. The gas pedal getting stuck is a REALLY scary one but easy to get the recall fix / new matt done.
