Anyone has ever experienced pot hole bursting tires on a quattroporte?

I have poped 5 tires in 1 month period, both left side, and replaced all 4 rims as they are bent as well.

Brought to dealer in OC, and they said it is pothole damage....

Now how is that possible?

Sounds odd, but possible. Pothole damage rarely gets both sides, but it could have been some other type of road defect. That kind of jolt is something you wouldn't forget, though. Remember any incidents? It would be enough to rattle your teeth.

Usually you can try to make a claim against the appropriate municipality for damage/repairs if it is something on the road/street/highway that should have been fixed (particularly if it had been reported to the appropriate organization). They budget quite a bit for this type of compensation.

Way to many but possible. I own my car for 2 years. Never damage the tires but crack 2 wheels. Mine are 18" wheels. On the other cars, I damage 3 tires from potholes. At one time, 1 front and 1 back tires at the same time.

I think there is something wrong with my car as well, suspension makes noise.

large rims and low profile tires? I have other cars with 22s and drive the same road everyday, never had a problem.

I think it is the car itself or the material the rims being really soft.

come on, it is a road car, it should be designed to absorb some impact even though i go over some uneven surfaces.

if i drive a mercerdes or bmw, it will never be a problem
