I know I can I just need to know what’s wrong is it usually the entire unit or just the screen ?

And what’s the procedure to fix this ? Is the hard drive in the screen or the unit under the screen?

Mine did this. It was fixed under warranty. They started by replacing the radio. Then maserati told the dealer the common issue was some cable. So they replaced that. Then finally they replaced the screen. No issue since they fixed it about 3 weeks ago.

There’s a very lengthy thread on the other Maserati forum (UK based) that describes how to replace the hard drive in the nav unit. It’s not an easy process but apparently it can be done.
