Hello there,

My passenger seat does not move forward when I recline it to allow easy access for the rear seat. In fact, it moves about an inch or so and then it moves back just a bit and stops. I tried the reset function and it completes the reset just fine, yet the issue persists. All other button functions of adjusting the seat work fine. I searched for other posts here but could not find a straight answer. Any feedback would be great. Thanks

Update: I managed to fix the passenger side for the time being. I noticed that if I manually moved the seat past the point at which the easy-access function moved backward, then the problem would disappear and the seat would travel all the way to the front! However, noticed that the driver side has the same issue, but my fix did not solve that one. I will keep trying resets on the driver side and see if works.

You need to reset both of them. You can search the forum or google it on YouTube. I just had to do mine the other day after disconnecting the battery. The sequence is key on. Roll down window and get out of car close door. QUICKLY trim off key open door and move seat control QUICKLY back/forth three times then lift the seat back forward and let it cycle. It's easier to watch the video however to get it right. It sounds crazy but that's the procedure.

You don't need to be in the car, or roll down the window. Just have the door open.

I appreciate your answers. I have done the reset on the driver seat but it just won't do it. I only managed to fix the passenger seat via the trick I described in the second post. I will leave it as is for now - don't really move the driver seat that much anyhow.
