Prior to full warm up, my pressure is always pegged at 70.
When warm, she will drop to 35 when idling but even with the slightest acceleration, will peg.
NOW, I just changed oil to Redline and noticed one change. When under slight load, she will sometimes be between 35 and 70. I attribute this to easier flowing oil and less work needed by the oil pumps. A positive as I can actually see the gauge working now.
Oil change is due, previous one was 5,ooo miles and 6 months ago. I have purhased an oil pressure sender also to give to my local mechanic when we change the oil. We are doing the oil change this coming friday.
