Non-Skyhook suspension mods

Just checking....

Did Forumula Dynamics ever finish developing the sport springs for our non-Skyhook equipped cars?

Has anybody tried the H & K coil overs? I've heard good things from Porsche owners, but am unaware if any of our fellow club members have tried these out. As I recall, they're German-made and cost about $2500.00 uninstalled. It occurs to me that with a product that provides both springs and shocks, the damping may also be improved over stock.

I too have been looking at this, as I feel the car has poor damping characteristics (too much compression damping), and is sprung too softly.

The H&K kit requires alot of Maserati specific parts that may be hard to source in the USA, as well as $$$

I have looked into having custom shock built, but the company would need to measure the stock shocks, and they are currently on my car.

If someone has a used front and rear, it would help to bump start the upgrade.
Please let us know if any customers can come out to Las Vegas with Non-Skyhook models or if you see any dealers with Non-Skyhook cars here locally. We do want to proceed with this project but it really requires that we have a car in the flesh so to speak.

I'll consider the drive to vegas if you comp me a set. :)
I'll keep an eye out for replaced shocks as well, although I'm not sure we'll see any being replaced from wear for a few years yet.
Thanks for the lookout.
I see no reason why we could not use Skyhook dampers as a pattern, as the rest of the car is the same afaik.
Guys, just as an update... I've got a set of non-skyhook shocks from an owner coming this way next week. I'll keep the forum posted however it should result in a set of non-skyhook springs being available in the very near future.

We've got a few other projects in the works at the moment...

4200 Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines will be available shortly,

4200 Sway Bars are actively under development,

QP Skyhook Springs are under development,

Other HP mods are being worked on and tested as well.
