I picked up a perfectly clean, unused set of Gransport wheels for my Coupe. I'm considering installing the FD springs at the same time. Has anyone done this and have any advice/feedback based on their experiences?

The springs are indispensable for aggressive driving on the twisties, they greatly reduce float and increase confidence. Springs plus the lowering keep you very grounded over undulating pavement. It's worth every penny.

BTW, there's a very good thread from about 3-4 months ago which polls the community on what do first, springs or DBW, with good arguments on both sides. Not that you asked, and not to reopen that can of worms ;>, but the springs are an absolutely necessary upgrade.

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback. I am in touch with Jeff and will discuss the options.

PM me about the old wheels.

Thanks again!

Did you score those n E Bay? If so, how dare you outbid me while I was at work...LOL, good choice though. I will be ordering the springs too as soon as I sell this ECU, I think it will look good with my 19" J-Lines.
