Hi guys, i'm from Europe and i got my new Maserati Granturismo. As most smart guys would do and wait until the middle of next year to get one, i just bought mine 1 week ago, what the hell, life is to short anyway, i have been driving the devil for around 1500km's now and i must say it's much better than the Porsche 997 i owned!!

I was thinking between a Porsche 997 turbo and the Maserati GT, and aldo the turbo is much faster and agressiver i bought the Maserati GT because of the looks and the easy handling!! I just love it!!

I'm happy they gave me 3 years all complete warranty unlimited km's, and i wanted to ask, what are they as warrany providers ? Good ? Excellent ? Or bad ? I have a few miner comments on the car but i hope they will listen to me and fix them asap...

Wow!!

That is a great looking GT. I have the GS, and while I love the pure driving experience of the GS, I love the curves on the GT. Are those stock wheels? The GT at my local AD in Atherton has one in granito but with different looking wheels. I like yours much better.

Congrats.

Yes, they are the stock wheels, the color scheme i have is :

Body: Granito Interior: Nero Carpets: Nero Trimming: Alu grey Headliner: Nero STC3: grigio ghiaccio CALR: rosso

When i planned to buy a Maserati i wanted to have some expiremental color scheme, but at the end i just bought it 'low profile' if you can call it that.. i want not to be to good notable.. just a little...that's the advantidge maserati has above ferrari, i find it much more exclusive

She's absolutely gorgeous. Even dirty, her beauty shines through. I had the fortune of seeing one similar for the first time in the flesh on display over the x-mas holiday while shopping at one of our more posh malls in Atlanta, GA. Granito as well, with the same 19" wheels. Spectacular. I have not been so captivated by a car's presence since 1985 when I saw a (then) current Testarossa for the first time.

I was so taken with the GT that I may have persuaded my father into buying one. (WAY out of my range for now) Fingers crossed!!

I recall seeing images of this GT last year in a magazine while flying home from Greece and thinking is was a gorgeous car. But seeing it in the flesh completely takes my breath away. I think Maserati is onto something here.

The one european magazine review I have read says the car is over-priced compared to a jaguar and a 911. From my viewpoint, it is an absolute bargain compared to a Ferrari 430. (half the cost?)

In comparison to a MB CL or Bentley coupe, it is an incredibly sexy alternative. I think it is the sexiest Maser in years.

It seems the die-hard Maserati owners have a less than approving view of this model due to its lack of superiority in the performance department. But as a person who has never even considered Maserati as a purchase option (albeit for my father, not me) this model will go a long way towards bringing new people to the marque. It is so posh and gorgeous in comparison to the Bentley and CL that there really is no comparison. These buyers do not care if they are not the fastest at the track. What they prize are masterful details and exclusivity. No one can deny the allure of the engine note this car has. Try doing that in a Bentley or MB. And the body lines! Who could not appreciate them? It's rolling sculpture.

Bottom line, the car is pure sex appeal. Bravo Maserati.

... you have been going faster than light, at least faster than the light of the speed cameras in Belgium, right? :)

I was told that max speed/rpm can only be reached in the manual mode, but you proved that in "D" mode 7500 rpm and up are possible as well.

Looking forward to reach sufficient mileage in my GT to try it as well.
