nice logo.
first time i actually looked at the classified section; but is very confusing. the model year should be shown in the index.
also the date of when the ad was posted should be shown: this guy's ad is VERY outdated:

"Model: Spyder GT Year: 2002
.... Awesome car still under wanrraty (aprrox date 01/07/2005)."

Thanks for the feedback. I agree with your comments on the classified section. I think as a rule I will remove any ad that is older than 6 months (maybe even less than that). Glad you like the logo.

Thanks for all the feedback. It helps to improve the site, I appreciate it! Enjoy! I hope to start rolling out some more content in the spring so look for that to be coming soon.

Thanks for the effort you put into this. I have found the site to be really useful and a great opportunity to get to know other Maserati owners.
I am also interested in the software you use for the site - what do you use, is it straightforward and how expensive is it? I ask these questions as I am interested in using a similar forum format for our business.

Looks great, Andrew.

One small thing I noticed on the Models section, if you click one of the links in "View Model by Year," it'll change the name Maserati in the title to Ferrari. For instance, if I click "1943-1952," the title changes to "Listing Ferrari models from 1943 - 1952." See what I'm saying? Hope that helps. I love this site, so whatever small thing I can contribute. :D

andrew, have you consider compiling a Maserati Registry?
it is a lot of work but should be quite informative... as a database, etc etc. i think many owners or potential owners will want to look.

Looks real sharp. Thanks. I just can't use the Quick Reply box.
To use the box you need to click the small quote icon in someone's post. That way the software knows which topic you are replying to. There are different view options which make that step necessary.

Well, this is a detail but personally I find it annoying because it triggers the horizontal scroller in my browser...

Why the 1/2" grey margins at each end? They don't contribute to the aesthetics and take up valuable real estate. At least kill the left one...

For screens that have the resolution of 800x600 :) Personally, I prefer relative size tables rather than fixed.

I looked at the stats and according to them only 8% of users of the site still use 800 x 600 so I decided to design the site for the >= 1024 x 768 group. At 1024x768 it puts the page real nicely in the center of the screen and floats the white page on the background. I thought it looked good, but I guess some of you don't.

If you are using 800x600 are you viewing the site with a portable device? Laptop? Regular monitor?

I could consider a setup that is relative like haha said and will give that a try. For now I apologize to the users using 800x600.

Fixed Tables

and fixed tables give you interesting anomalies like

although I have to say this software handles it more gracefully than others I've used.

All in all I'm impressed with both the administration and the members at this site. It's a pleasure to use and to participate.

Are you using 800x600?
