Update: Well, I replaced the brake switch - Kent at Universal Autosports tested it and found it was defective - looks like those of us in the tri-state area may have a very nice/qualified independent to work with. Been driving the car as much as possible and so far not even a blink from the light.
Kudo's to VT DMC for coming up with the suggestion to check this first. Thanks !! We should all note to check the brake switch if we start having CC light issues.
