I'm looking for a new brake system for my maserati '03..
Any hints? looking for something reaallly reaally good and strong.. ?? Anybody ?? :roll:

The original brakes are quite good IMHO (made by Brembo, same as the F 575M standard brakes). You can change the fluid and the pads (yellow) if you want more resistance to fade. But if you still want to spend money, modena-tec.de and movit.de have some expensive proposals...

I agree that the stock system is quite good. Substituting a different pad material could improve performance, but probably at the expense of increased brake dust, etc. There are also very high performance pad systems, but these generally reach maximum effectiveness at very high temperatures, such as those encountered in race conditions, and are not recommended for "around town" applications. In any case, I'd try a pad swap long before I'd try a system swap, since the binders on the Maser seem fine.
