In early ’09 I was visiting Italy, and had a chance to visit Modena. There I was able to view the beauty of the Maserati world.

I had the idea of buying a Maserati from when I was a toddler. My dad used to drive a white Maserati Mistral 4000 GT and I was just enchanted by that car. When I saw the MC12 I knew Maserati was going to be back on track.

The day the Granturismo came out I knew that was the car for me, only that for a variety of uncertainties on where I would be living in the near future made me post pone my dream for a year.

Before going to Italy I had in mind that the GT was the perfect match for me, since I don’t need the four doors of the QP.

There in Modena speaking to the Maserati representatives I found out that a special version of the new GT S was going to be introduced shortly.

I was lucky enough to sneak peak a dark gray one in their factory! All that extensive use of carbon fiber was stunning, and the melody that the flat black exhausts did when you press the sport button and revved was like a melody for my ears.

I knew I wanted that configuration; already my imagination was picturing how it would be in white. The Maserati “guys” told me that for the US market I still had to wait at least six months.

After patiently waiting it arrived, as I wanted it.

Every time I see it in the garage and I take for a ride I feel thrilled as if it is the first time.

Best,
G

Greg congrats!

I almost wish I was still in Boston to see your baby.

You should definitely hook up with my friends at http://www.supercarroadtrips.com/. One of my good buddies on there and occasional poster here has a red GS LE.

Please post some pics of the MC GT-S to satisfy our curiosities!

Congrats again on what sounds like a devastatingly good looking ride

The videos speak for themselves. Good group of guys with some serious wheels.

I emailed the organizer, who is looking out for an application with a GT-S MC on it ;)

Interior

Greg--
Since we are having to utilize our imagination (& as kramsay hinted we have very little), can you give us some details on your interior color choices. All black or did you do something special?

Hey Ryan! I feel bad for not having done a nice photshoot at the car but I really hadn't the time!

As soon as I get back, first week of april, I will post at least 20 pics! :)

Anyways inside it has avorio seats with black contrast stiching, the headliner is beige alcantara, and the dashboard is black, the interior is fitted with full carbon fiber like the trim as well as center consoles, door sills, & steering wheel!

And floor mats are black with sand contour!

Hope this helps!

Best,

Congrats, the MC Shift GranTurismo is my favorite Maserati! I'm sure you'll love the car.
