I stumbled into this YouTube video. His MC Stradale sounds great.

The guy says the mid silencer is deleted. You think he took the resonator and either went straight pipes or with an Xpipe?

He also says his MC Stradale has a valve system. Is he referring to the valves that open and close when you press the sport button? If not what other valves is he talking about?

Just looking for ways to make the car sound even better than it does.

yeah the valves are the muffler ones, they are like half open in Sport, and 100% open in Sport + Manual, that's a eurospec MC they are different than the USDM ones, where MC was just an options package

If you want it to be louder you can throw a cheap Camaro x-pipe on there or whatever. But the entire exhaust on European MC's is different.

He most certainly went with a Larini X pipe which is a drop in replacement (or similar), you don't want to replace the Center Section with straight pipes, the MC will lose horsepower in that configuration.

The exhaust between the MC Stradale (Europe, Asia, Australia, etc) is actually the very same as the North American version on our GranTurismo "MC" version. There are other changes that the true "MC Stradale" received such as CCM brakes, MC-Shift Transmission as an option, 2 seat option, etc.. but the exhaust is the same between those 2 models.

Lastly, this is also not to be confused with MC Sportline which is just a Carbon Fiber options package that can be added to most any GranTurismo. It's all very similar names, very easy to be confused by all the marketing.

Adding the Larini Sport Cats, X Pipe, etc... can really help bring the GT to life... Larini also offer a full muffler change with 4 1/2" Tips for the MC that is amazing as well.

Feel free to reach out by phone or email with any questions, we know the GT very well, been in Maserati for over 20 years now.

GranTurismo 4.7L Stock, then adding Larini Sport Cats, then adding X pipe in addtion to Sport Cats (Beast Mode) :

Best Regards,
