I just recieved my new wheels, still there's something missing. TYRES!
which one is better for more performance and handling?

1- Michelin Pilot Sport PS2

2- Pirelli P-Zero Nero or Rosso

one thing i forgot to mention...it is soft compound and wears faster than the regular PS will give you about 12K miles.

I like the Michelins. My last set were Pirelli P Zero Rossos and they 'tramlined' on non perfect roads. However - I now have a set of Goodyear F1's and they are excellent. They have a soft compound so they will wear a bit but the grip is excellent, the road noise lower and the tread pattern looks great.

ABM (anything but Michelin). After countless bad experiences with their mountain bike tires and the F1 debacle, I'll buy anything else as a matter of principle. Unless they offer them for free... :wink:

I am not so crazy about the OEM Michelins --- I have two other cars with PZero Rossos and love them as everyday tires.

When the Michies die my car will get PZeros.

Also, I just read a great article (Top Gear in the UK? Octane? One of those) where taking a Maserati to the 'Ring they were able to get better times on PZeros than the Michelins.
