Our MCV sold, but the new owner wanted standard GranSport seats.

So, I've got a set of seats for sale.

They are black leather, black alcantara inserts, blue stitching, and the blue carbon fiber weave backs.

If the rails are different than standard they will be included. (I've got to double check this, but unfortunately the MCV seats are still hard\impossible to get ordering specific information from Maserati on.)

I'm starting them here before I put them on eBay or anything, so let me know if anyone is interested. I should have MSRP info, bracket info, and shipping cost soon.

The MCV seats have different rails and mounting brackets (and an actual riser). I studied the mounting system and seat brackets in detail when trying to find ones for my Recaro seats (both parts diagrams and seats from the actual car at the dealer).

I might still have the parts diagram laying around somewhere, if I do I'll scan and post it (I found it at the Maserati parts counter in a matter of a few minutes with the parts manager, it's pretty straightforward if you want to hit the counter and try and look for it yourself instead of waiting for someone to be free)

Once I'm in the parts diagrams, I can find my way around alright, I just don't remember how to get in. My parts manager will have the full details for me shortly, but I suspected they were different from the floor up, so to speak.

I'll include all necessary hardware with these, so they'll be ready to bolt in. The folks dropped about $20k on OEM GranSport full leather heat\memory seats, so they want to recoup as much as they can out of these. I realize these aren't likely going to go for full sticker, but I'll have a more solid price in the next couple of days.

I spoke with Mille, which if you guys didn't know makes some really cool race style office chairs out of Ferrari \ Maserati \ etc. seats, and he knows more than I do about these. There is a question about the power mirror adjust not functioning with these seats in a standard car. I will be looking at our MCV to see how this is bypassed, but there is a slim chance you might need to get your mirrors set before installing these.

More details coming soon.

The official MCV ones (blue kevlar thread running through it) are $1500/each. I went through the MCV specific parts when I put the Carbon/kevlar lower front spoiler on my car and wanted the rest of the pieces to match in the interior. Some of the prices don't make sense at all.

Did anyone replace their paddles themselves with the Ferrari part? Just curious how hard it was to get to them

I know this is a long stretch, but are these seats still for sale? If not, I'm curious what became of them?

Still being hopeful
Why the hell would you buy an MCV to take the seats out and spend 20k on gransport seats? Just buy a gransport dammit wtf?
By the sound of it, it lowered the price of the MCV by $20k. Now knowing how much the MCV sold for that these seats were from, at current pricing levels of an MCV for $60k and GS for $40k, wouldn't you rather have an MCV for the same price as a GS? Just saying. It was nice that the dealer or whomever offered this service! It must have meant the difference between holding onto the car for another year or selling it then and there and selling the seats (a highly sought after item) separately.

As others have pointed out, those MCV seats can be very uncomfortable for middle-aged drivers who no longer have a "good figure."

true statement, I am going to same experience and is one main reason for selling my car, due to age and health issue I've put the mcv up for sale. Since yearly age I remember having lower back pain. Time to move on...
