Bianco Audace with blue calipers, blue interior, suspension lifter, heated seats, headrest stitching, auto dimming mirrors, mirror birdcage wheels, ELSD, and blind spot alert.

I believe #58 in ordering system but who knows. They initially told me July delivery but I’m thinking October so I don’t get too anxious.
Where is everyone located? Northern Virginia here....
I am in GA.

What I know so far...
My car: Grigio Mistero with Carbon roof (note when you order the car, there we’re some options that weren’t on the online configurator.
Date Order was Placed: Last October.
Price: Sticker, although Fiat group allows dealers to price vehicles as they see fit.
Delivery: I was originally told Q4, and the GM doesn’t have any updated ETA although he routinely checks with corporate. I was also told that it doesn’t depend upon when the car was ordered (I was pretty early in the queue, as they hadn’t even completed the east coast tour of the car), but that production would depend more upon the color you ordered and how many were ordered; I.e., they’d produce all the white cars, then grey cars (wishful thinking on my part), and so on, so it could be a wait if you drew the wrong stick on color.
Production: I was told 300 to 400 world-wide...my estimate is 150 come to the US based on the number of dealers here and dealers getting an allocation of 0 to 4 cars depending upon size of dealership (some averaging). I was also told earlier this month that due to the low vol that the chip shortage shouldn’t be a factor (fingers crossed). Car has been sold out world-wide for several months.
Personal: I haven’t been this excited about a car in 20 years and find myself feeling very lucky to have secured a car, especially as I had no businessman or person relationship with the dealer prior to the MC20.

Looks absolutely fantastic!
Thank you! I’m champing at the bit waiting for it…it was a special event where my son and I spent over two hours at the dealership obsessing over every detail with the GM who was incredibly helpful (after I had spent two hours the week before with the GM).

I just noticed 74 Merak in your profile…that’s insane…if you have a pic or two, I’d love to see (if that’s not cool to do as this is the MC20 thread, then I understand—I don’t want to upset anyone).

I suppose one photo can't hurt ;). The Merak is one of the MC20 forefathers - the mid-engined Maserati road cars - alongside the Bora and the MC12. Like the MC20, the Merak also has a V6.

I would have posted a photo of mine which I had for a few years while I lived in Cleveland in the late 70s, but 1) mine was a painted-over rust bucket and if that wasn’t enough it was also previously totaled and shoddily restored and 2) even if I did find the photo which is probably buried in a stack of albums somewhere in the house, it’s probably all faded out ( unfortunately that’s what happens to “real“ photos before the digital age came along .. ) so it would not do this gorgeous car justice. Seeing its clean image like in the above photo is a suitable tribute . (y)

No, Joe's car was an Allemano-bodied 5000GT...
Yes, a 5000GT , and it couldn't do 185 unless you took it to the top of a mountain and just gave it a push ..:p 168 mph top speed according to Maserati. Of course he might have had it modified, but to get another 17 mph at that top end level where wind resistance / aerodynamics are a bigger enemy, you need a hell of a lot more HP ( it's not a proportional equation ) , so not sure what he could have done to it if indeed it attained 185. But the line in the lyrics wouldn't rhyme so he would have had to come up with something else..

It might well have been an indicated 185 ;)
... Instruments were somewhat "optimistic" back then :D
Also, keep in mind that no road car in the mid-1960s did 185; Forget all the Germans, all the French, all the British, and no Maserati, no Ferrari, not even the Lamborghini Miura...

Very true, the speedometers are not only factory set to show a higher speed than actual, but in addition, at that speed level the “normal” speedometer error can be 10-15% above . So unless the speed is GPS measured, relying on the speedometer reading gives one a bit of a false sense of how fast you’re going ..
