pretty crazy! My SA told me Maserati also does the PPI at port of entry so our cars will more than likely be processed together and then shipped to our dealers on the same truck.
Spoke w my SA today, he said the boat left 11/4, but delivery to port delayed until 1st week in Dec, given holidays he'd be surprised if we see the cars this year, probably going to be early Jan.

sounds like our cars may not be on the same boat. How did your dealer confirm when boat actually left port and that your car was on it? My car was supposedly shipped to port end of Sept. Delivery to port in MD has been delayed three times with latest now showing 11/25.

He confirmed on the maserati dealer system, he's going to send me a screen cap when he's back at the store tomorrow. He said the vehicle in transit from subsidiary to dealer date is marked now as 11/4 (left port in Italy).

now I'm totally confused!! Look at photo tracking my car and how would you interpret this? So if my car left the factory on 9/27 the forecast delivery to subsidiary is showing 11/22 which is 2 months later. So if this is correct your 2023 was on a boat before my 2022? And we still don't have confirmed date when vehicle in transit from subsidiary to dealer (left port in Italy).

Yes, that's very strange, I'll post up my screen cap tomorrow as soon as I get it, I hope this doesn't mean that your car was held up during inspection at the port in Italy? I'd push your SA to contact his Maserati rep for an explanation. My SA mentioned several times that the tracking system is pretty archaic and errors are not uncommon.

So yours probably left on an earlier boat than mine! I'm still a bit confused by the subsidiary terminology, but this is what my SA just said:

Vehicle in transit from factory to subsidiary indicates the vehicle is on the boat to the port of entry.
Forecast delivery to subsidiary is the date it's expected to hit the port of entry.

That’s also what my SA told me so I think we’re on the same page now. Yeah my car‘s entry into port has been pushed back several times so sounds like that mess continues…..

That's really hard to say, my vehicle was "in production" for 3 mos, but a month of that was delayed by the August shutdown. Impossible to predict also if car gets held at warehouse in IT or even the port here, but I'd ballpark you're looking at Feb or Mar delivery.

Bummer! I agree, This Maserati experience is crap! And I know the car is amazing, But when you spend 300k you would think we would have white glove service, I put my Ford Lightning Truck order in 2 months ago, and Ford provides updated emails and a link to what is happening with my truck, And there doing 30,000 units. How many MC 20s? 500 a year, and they cannot figure out how to communicate with there customers. This also happen to me back in 09 when I ordered my GT.

Hell, at least give us black glove service, Maserati! Maybe there's some dirt hiding on that glove, but at least I know you're trying!

Agree, they have to up their game tremendously if they want to compete in this space. And to offer up an MC20 owners portal with email link to register but have it broken and unusable...just dumb.
