Thanks! I went with grigio mistero. If I'm not totally happy with the color when I see it I'll probably wrap it matte black. I wonder if it would be possible to color match the limited edition aquamarina color and get a wrap with it?

That's an interesting idea, I also thought hard about the aquamarina color but didn't want to choose sight unseen and add 2-4 mos to the delivery, but if there's a vinyl wrap that is close, paying 10k for that would be tempting. The MC20 is such a clean design, I think you can go a little more aggressive w the color choices potentially than some of the other busier modern supercars out there.

I ordered a fully spec’d (except CBDs) coupe and was given a delivery date of 4/23. I’ve pretty much heard nothing from the dealer since the confirmation of my deposit. Shouldn’t I get an official order confirmation? If they are telling me 4/23 for delivery, when should I realistically receive it?

I’ve been a bit disappointed with the customer experience as well. This has been the replies from my dealer to my past few questions:

Me:
“Did you ever find out if adding the carbon fiber roof was going to delay the shipment?”

Them
“Good to go”

Me
“Does “good to go” mean I’ll still be getting it in April even with the carbon roof?”

Them
“Yes”

The short and non-detailed responses after ordering a $350k car and no official order confirmations just feels strange.

First, welcome to the club…the car is amazing and worth the wait! Next, unfortunately, your experience is not unlike the rest of us here, with possibly one exception…. The dealer should be more communicative. Everything is done off a status code which is provided by Masersti and accessible to the dealer in their system; i.e., order acceptance, then being built, then a series of inspections, then shipping (your dealer, if he’s good and motivated, should be able to actually track the ship your car is on, in real time—that was fun for us). Anyway, you should ask for the status code your car currently exhibits, and ask the dealer what that means specifically. Based on my experience, delivery dates don’t mean a whole lot until the car starts the build process, but that’s just one experience, so take it with a grain of salt.

Post-delivery, Maserati has been very good to work with (very communicative and responsive to my dealer on questions and comments we’ve had about the MC20).

My dealer gave me an order # and build sheet confirming what they submitted, you should have this at the very least. Mine is also a coupe for 4/23 delivery.

This forum is crickets lol. Well, here's at least some content from Novitec on their aftermarket parts. The CF pieces don't do it for me at all, and the weave doesn't even match the OEM from what I can tell. I'm curious about the exhaust for sure, though. I like how the guy says Novitec isn't expecting the car to sell so they didn't bother doing a lot of development on aftermarket pieces lol.

For those who have just received cars or are receiving in the future, here are a couple of tips that you might want to consider… I’d suggest putting either a PPF or wrap on the bottom of the door as it will pick up everything that the car goes over and do so at a high speed. This will cause the bottom edge to pit or get chips and scrapes. This isn’t noticeable on most cars, as the bottom of the door remains a few inches from the ground at all times. With the MC20’s dihedrals, you see the bottom of the door when you open it. My door bottoms get wrapped next week to prevent damage. Second is when washing the car, you may want to consider placing a piece of crash wrap over the engine bay so that you don’t get water and soap in there (which takes a lot longer to clean out). Anyway, just a couple of tips FWIW.

Lol I'd like to say I'm quietly and patiently waiting, but I'm mostly just waiting. I'm trading in my 2018 GT next month so it's going to be a year before I'm back in another Maserati (unless by some miracle my production gets moved up).

As for that Novitec video....yikes. Nothing sells like saying "We know our kit looks pretty similar to the base MC20, but that's because we didn't really try."
I will admit their exhaust sounds better though. I wonder if it's something that can be added a la carte?

Yeah, that was one of the worst pieces of marketing I've seen in a while lol. His earlier review of the MC20 was also pretty lackluster, clearly he doesn't love the car, they should have gotten a different sales schmo to do the YTs. Absolutely they'll sell everything alacarte, I'm not sure I want to use their "tectronic" OBD plug to fool the car so I don't get a CE tho. I'm sure there will be a few other exhaust options coming out in next year or two. Also, not sure the ECU upgrade is worth it for less than 100 hp and 0.1s off the 0-60 time.

Hi everyone, just received an allocation for a 23 Coupe. Very excited! I currently have a Mclaren GT and I was torn between the Artura and the MC20.

I had a few quick questions. Does anyone have access to the 2023 prices? I know a few of the previously optional items like lift and CF engine cover are now standard. My dealer sent me an order guide but it has no prices. Also they require a right of first refusal for the first year which isn't an issue for me.

Probably going with Grigio Mistero. Was also thinking of Rosso but I think grey is the safer choice. I choose the Nero/Rosso interior on the 23 configurator but it doesn't allow me to pick the CF interior. Is that standard or not available with that interior? Is the nero/rosso interior the full premium leather alcantara package from 2022?

Finally I have a seen a few reviews that mention body roll. My Mclaren GT doesn't have much body roll but even that is too much. I prefer a car that is fairly flat thru the turns and when changing direction. Obviously I hope to drive a used one when my dealer gets one back to see for myself but I was just wondering how it compares to other sports cars owners have had.

Thanks so much and sorry for all the rambling comments this happened quite suddenly and I'm off to the dealer tomorrow to sign everything up.

Welcome! I don't have a lot of answers but I'll try.

I built my car on the phone w my dealer and he told me the prices of the options as I picked them, he didn't send me a price list, but I'm sure there is one available if you ask your dealer. I can tell you the prices of the options I have chosen, but mine is a pretty lightly optioned car so not sure that will help you (grigio incognito solid paint, stitched trident, extended alcantara, heated seats, sonus faber, birdcage wheels, gloss blue calipers, interior carbon pack).

I'm fairly sure the Nero/Rosso interior automatically adds the extended alcantara and the interior carbon pack.

I had a brief test drive and did not experience significant body roll. Definitely less than my aston vantage, maybe a tad bit more roll than the GT3 RS, but I did not drive it that hard or for long.

Are you trading the GT? I was considering one, but hard to find one to test drive. What are your thoughts on it? I'm also going to test drive the Artura when Mac Chicago gets a demo in.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately my dealer said they don't have pricing yet. I'm sure the options will be similar to 2022 but I'm concerned about the base MSRP with all the new standard features. Fortunately, I was getting all of them so hopefully it just went up the cost of the new additional items.

I will be trading in the GT, although it's on a lease so hopefully I'll be ok with that. Love the car. Very comfortable in comfort but real wakes up when you switch over to track mode. The exhaust is quite nice and not crazy loud. I love the V8 growl. I think that's the one dissapointing part about the MC20. I'm not one to go aftermarket so I guess I'l just have to live with it. It handles quite nice as well although I do wish it was a little sharper. They did dull it down a bit but it's still quite good. Best part, IMO is the looks. It's very understated and still distinctive. No doubt the 720s would have been a better fit performance wise but I wasn't keen on the looks and honestly couldn't swing the extra cost.

The Artura was really nice as well. I had a decent test drive with Mclaren LI. A few glitches though with the car on the test but I'm sure they will be ironed out by the time they start with the customer deliveries. My car has been great apart from an infotainment glitch which was solved by an update at the dealer.

Ok, not sure why he said they don't have '23 pricing, they definitely do. My order has been locked for the past 6 wks, I was trying to see if they could change the seats to the lightweight buckets but still have not heard back. I'm attaching my order sheet, so you'll see the pricing on the options I picked at least.

I love the Mac GT looks, gorgeous and understated. I had a '14 12C Spyder I loved it for the simple clean looks, I've driven an 720S and it's a beast, but I'm not keen on its looks...or really the Artura's either, the designs are so busy.

Thanks for the order sheet! Big help. I was most concerned about the MSRP w/o any options. Looks like it just went up the cost of the options. I think I went a little overboard. The big decision was the carbon brakes. I hate break dust and I thought it would help on resale. Interior CF was another but I think it is a bit drab w/o it. I also added things like the alarm, and the electrically adjustable steering column. I may take those out depending on price although I think in the big scheme of things, they are pretty cheap.

Just placed my order yesterday. Went with the Grigio Mistero with the Black/ Red interior with trident and the Diamond Cut Birdcage wheels. I ended up taking the CC brakes with red calipers, Sonos heated seats and black roof.

I also ended up with the upgraded leather and alcantara interior for 1k. Not sure how that ended up on the order sheet but I generally like extra leather bits so I left it. Any idea what that encompasses? Was going to add the alarm and E-lsd but that would have pushed me over 260k.

The dealer was able to find the pricing for 2023 thanks to everyone's comments here. It was a cancelled order so its been in the pipeline for a bit and locks in about 10 days with delivery April/May.

It's going to be a long wait!
