Who in here have actually ordered a MC20 and what delivery dates were given to you by your dealer?
I have an allocation for one which is supposed to arrive in Sep/Oct 2021. They will start building it in March is what I was told. I did get an email directly from Maserati about my order confirmation.
I have seen it in person and it looks stunning. I believe it will surprise a lot of people and will make you rethink Maserati.
Please feel free to share your thoughts / experience and what you think about the car? I think it will be a much more exclusive car for a while as I was told that only 450 are being made for 2021.
Yesterday at my dealership: two new customer cars arrived and are waiting to be picked up. Simply a brilliantly beautiful super sports car. All those who have already ordered one can be very happy!
In Switzerland, the land of milk and honey, 8 MC20s are already for sale on the internet. From new cars to demonstration models with 8000km. There is no premium price to pay for any of these cars. All are on list price level or already significantly below. In our case, it looks like supply has already exceeded demand. Therefore, I maintain that the waiting period of four years is not correct or that this will be massively reduced very soon. Maserati MC20 AutoScout 24 Schweiz
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but a car producer like Ferrari or Maserati only reserves the right to adjust the list prices between order and delivery. To simply want to sell a car above list price (MSRP +x) because the market is just good, seems to me to be legally unenforceable.
FWIW I was at Chicago Motor Cars today test driving a 720S and was chatting w one of the owners and asked about MC20s, and he said they're trading just slightly over sticker now if I was interested in one (310-320ish sticker cars so heavily optioned I would imagine). So I'd definitely hold off on paying any big ADMs right even if you want one right now.
This is a LeMans Edition, a special equipment line limited to 50 units. Special are, among a few other things, the LeMans wheels, the wheel house ventilation, the roof scoop and the two-tone paint in Sarthe & Ueno gray.
