Hey everyone,

Just bought myself MC Stradale 2013 with F1 shift and ceramic breaks.
I am new in Maserati community so I know nothing about this cars 馃槄
Also there is no dealership of Maserati in our country :(
Could you guys please help me with couple of questions:

1. What diagnostics do you use? To have such function as clutch adaptations and other tests. (done - Foxwell 530 with Maserati file added)
2. Previous owner of car used to buy aftermarket break pads from usual GTs. Is it bad for ceramic discs? (done - nothing bad but it fits)
3. Which break fluid I have to use with this breaks? Dot4? Or some other specification? (done - Shell Brake and Clutch Fluid DOT 4 Ultra 2-3l in the system)
4. Same question for coolant (done - Shell Glycoshell 12,5 l in the system)
4. In our country humidity is 100% whole year, and interior is sweating from AC vents. What it could be? All filters changed already (done - bad fitting of air filter hose)
5. Where can I order the basics things from bonnet, that blue bag with tools and documentation. (done - part num. 254569)

Thanks in advance.

How technically- (really, mechanically-) savvy are you? Do you do your own work on your cars, and if so, what previous makes did you own and work on? I'm asking because that would inform, re what tasks you could undertake and what equipment you'd need...

You bought a very desirable (to me and a few Others) car - but a very maintenance-needy car...

If there's one piece of advice I'd give, it is to make full battery voltage a real priority. In hot climates you could, possibly, only see 2 years' service per battery. Use an automatic battery tender religiously. Don't skimp on battery size/ Amp-Hrs/CCA...

Is it save for car electric units? I saw you had problems with it, is it okay now?

Works great for reading codes and clearing them. Also oil maintenance light.
I entered a section I should have not been in (May need to reset other sensors, not sure) Will report back once I take somewhere to get it sorted out.

Hi Mathreex,

How far from Modena are you? That is the source of all answers

if you mean that the car has carbon-ceramic brakes then yes, pads for steel rotors are a different formulation from the very specialized formulations used for carbon-ceramic brakes. I don鈥檛 know if there are aftermarket pads for carbon-ceramic discs/rotor so you鈥檒l need to confirm that the pads you have are not steel rotor pads.
