I have heard from reliable sources within Maserati that the Granturismo S MC-Shift is here to stay.

To dispel some bad rumors that have been circulating in this forum, it is NOT TRUE that it is a limited edition and that the automatic 4.7 will replace it. The two will be sold alongside each other.

Yes that is good news. I liked it when I used it although I haven't driven all that many flappy paddle gearboxes. I had heard it was a cost issue and encroached on Ferrari territory.

I *never* thought the limited edition thing was true --- no way they are going to invest that much in engineering and then only sell a few cars for a year.
