Hi all. I'll be looking for a new car next spring and a Maserati is on the list of possibilities. Will be looking a 'pre-loved' one!!!Don't you just scream when you hear that phrase! Hope the lover didn't do him- (or her-) self a serious injury!

Anyway, the question is, 4200GT, or Gran Sport? Is there much difference. Also, which gearbox is best. I'm happy with a manual and don't want a sluggish auto. All opinions greatfully recieved. :)

GranSport. The F1-tranny in the GS is the best iteration of the cambiocorsa gearbox. Still not perfect but generally quite good, particularly in sport mode.

The Coupe GT is hard to find, as only about 10% of the overall production had a manual gearbox.

Happy hunting :D

The GS is a valuable package, the Cambiocorsa F-1 Transmission isn't the best on the market however it is much better than an automatic.

Honestly there is no bad combination. Just get some seat time in them first to decide.

Good luck with the search, there are some great deals out there!

Best Regards,
