My plastic cd cover has shattered into pieces a week ago I must have put too much pressure on it ....turned out to be extremely fragile part... does anybody know where to source these at the reasonable price? I do see multiple offerings at $200 and up but are there any cheaper alternatives? or would anybody have one for sale?

alternatively, does anybody have a file for 3-D printing of these?

The answer to your question is no, they're not available and so far as I know there are not print files.

If you can send me the broken one, I can make a file.

I searched and searched and gave in and bought a new one on ebay for around $275. I then took some epoxy and fine fiberglass cloth and tried to give it some extra strength. An aftermarket option for this will definitely be needed soon as it seems new ones are drying up.

Like I said it shattered into many pieces and some of the smaller ones are missing so it would not be 100% complete would you still be able to make a 3-D print file? for example I’m missing the back screws housings completely and some of the frontal pieces are missing too....

There’s a bloke on French eBay selling some, still not cheap and no idea of the quality
