I finally had a day off yesterday and I called my service guy at FM of NJ. He said I could stop by and they would adjust my window. I was complaining of too much wind noise, plus I needed a screw for one of the engine covers.

I dropped my car off, and waited about 45 minutes. They gave me a loaner and told me I should goto the bookstore, it may be another hour or so. No problem I had nothing to do.

Finally they called me and told me that a part needed to be replaced and that they wanted the car over night.. Again no problem. My only concern was that I had to work today and I could not drive the 30 miles to pick up my car.

They told me not to worry. They are having my car flatbedded to my office today at no charge. Actually that service is covered under Maserati Warranty. They told me this is how they deliever all their cars.

What a convenience. So far, I have nothing but great things to say about the dealer.

Best part of the trip, the let me pull my car into the work area. There were 3 Super Americas and 2 F430s... Simply Beautiful machines.

Window Adjustment

When I first bought my coupe I noticed that the seal around the mirror mount was pulling back and that it was making a small mark on the outside window trim.

I brought it to the dealer and they said they would replace and fix everything. (I was looking a brand new cars in the showroom, that also had the same marks on the window trim)

They replaced everything. However, when I was driving home I noticed more wind noise right by my left ear. I called the dealer and they said they could adjust the window to close tighter.

While they were trying to adjust the window, they noticed the part controling the window was slipping and needed to be replaced. They replaced it and the window shuts great. Much less wind noise. However, a little squeak when I put it down. I am satisfied.

When I went to get my car off the flat bed there were a few people around it claiming to be the owner. I was a little embarassed since they brought it to my office, but these cars do draw attention.

Could you explain the arrangement that allows the flatbedding delivery to be covered by warranty? Do you mean that any warranty item the car needs can be covered for flatbedding the car for return? Would that only be if they keep it overnight? Who decides? And would they also come and pick it up for no charge under warranty?
Thanks

I do not know the details of the flatbed?

My service guy told me everything with my window was covered and that he would send a driver with my car to pick up the rental they gave me.

They could not get a driver so they called their flatbed service. Apparently, they pick up and deliver many Ferraris and Maseratis for service. He made it sound like they flatbed cars all the time?

I had just paid $371.00 for my 6,000 mile service so maybe I am listed as a paying customer? I have no idea. The window is acting up again, so looks like another visit. Honestly, I do not mind. I have a lot of free time and the dealership is a "happy place" to visit.

I just know that the service at FM of Central NJ has been incredible. I will continue to give them my business.
