Every once in a while I get the urge for a Maserati club type event, but my wife normally squashes the thought by remarking how few owners there likely are around us. The only way to know for sure is to ask.

Reply if you live in Michigan, or near enough to entertain attending a Maserati Owners event of some sort.

Also, I'd be curious to know experiences with Ferrari clubs and events.

Most say Maserati owners are welcome... but do you find yourself assigned to seats in the dark back row, so to speak? I've been to customer days sponsored by my local Ferrari dealer and have been treated and integrated with the Ferrari owners wonderfully. I haven't been to a Ferrari club event, though.

I think that is a great idea and wish I could join in the fun. WE NEED more events in the events calendar.

On another note I'm trying hard to get the site in a better condition. I'm finally set with a layout and will continue to update the remaining pages. I think everyone will like it.

Joe,

We're not that far apart, perhaps 3.5 hours at most. It may be great fun to meet somewhere between for a lunch or an event of some type.

I'm not certain where Waterford is located (been too long since I worked in the Detroit area), but I'll be somewhere between Toledo and Sanduskey would work fine.

If you're game, I'll drop a message on the Maserati listserv and see if we can get some interest going for a Saturday lunch thing arranged in mid-August. Sounds fun to me! Fellow Masers are hard to find...

I'm game. Toledo can't be more than 1.5 to 2 hours from me. I'd like to see a Maserati club with events, and not just late model Maser's, but all Maser's. I just don't know how many people we can reach.

Maybe we can reach Ferrari owners as well - the more the merrier, but the club staffers should be Maser owners, keeping the emphasis on Maserati with Ferrari friends as guests. I guess a problem with that would be if we start to get more F-cars than Maser's.

If we have owners in Chicago area, a track day at Gingerman would be pretty cool, it's in South Haven, on the west side of the state. To do that, though, we need 30 cars to make the costs work out.

A simple gathering would be a start.

My wife and I spend our summers in Petoskey Michigan. While Petoskey is definitely the place to be in summer, maybe we should look at some sort of gathering during the Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise weekend, the third weekend in August every year (except 2020).

I just got a 15' Ghibli SQ4 and have been looking for a club but haven't found anything. Lets get something going!? I own a marketing agency, we'll build the website and do the marketing. If you're interested lets connect!
