A bit late but I came across this. I found this to be interesting. Now that Ferrari & Maserati is in Russia they estimate 100+ will be sold in Russia in 2004. On the 20th of May Montezemolo launched the showroom on the Russian market and the opening of the Group’s (Ferrari/Maserati) first showroom in the country. It took place at the highly exclusive downtown Tretyakovskiy Proezd in front of a large group of dignitaries and members of the media. The photos (which I'll have to post later) are cool. Would you want all that snow on your Maser?

They must be planning on good growth in Russia. I wouldn't think that 100 cars a year would justify the investment.

To me, that signals long-term interest in driving the Maserati brand. Very good news.
