i just got of the phone yesterday with a guy from the new Maserati master school.

it looks like Maserati just took the Panoz racing school and gave it some cars. the curriculum looks good and i have heard that the panoz school is actually good.

the track is the spa of the u.s. road Atlanta.

Yep. I plan on attending a two-day session in July or August, when the track surface is hot and sticky.

The two-day session has a lot more track time plus two hot lap sessions. Best of all, you get to thrash someone else's Maser.

A guy I mountain bike with used to race for Panoz in the ALMS and at LeMans, and did a lot of testing at RA. Hoping I can call ahead and get a couple "wink wink" hot laps in.

Life begins at 140.

One of our salesmanagers went down to the two-day version of the school, and had nothing but good things to say. He was really impressed with the performance potential of the cars, and was much more confident after going through the school part of the course. There is a lot of solo-time in the cars, and apparently one of the cars used in the school program happens to be the silver Coupe from The Sopranos.
