Hello Everyone,
It is Phil from Fabspeed. I am reaching out to provide information about our GranTurismo X-pipe. It is a free-flowing X-Pipe replaces the factory mid-pipes and resonators to improve exhaust flow, increase power, and enhance the exhaust note. It takes the heavy muted factory x-pipe and replaces it with a light weight T304L Stainless steel pipe.

FEATURES:

Fits all Maserati GranTurismo without MC Shift Transmission (2008+)
Constructed from 14-16 gauge, C.N.C. mandrel bent T304 stainless steel pipes.
Major improvement in power throughout the RPM range.
Direct replacement with no cutting or welding required.
All Fabspeed performance products are backed by the Fabspeed Lifetime Limited Warranty

Here is one review:
Fantastic x-pipe. Car is quiet and sedate when needed, but when I want to be obnoxious the sound is right there on demand! Beautiful.

I've been contemplating getting the x-pipe ... I just am concerned with it altering the current noise the car makes. I hear such varied reviews - some say the noise stays the same but it just is more aggressive/more volume to it .... others say it sounds more muscle-car like after the x-pipe (which is what i am not after). I know it's hard to really say ... but do you have any input on this? I feel like listening to videos on youtube only tells so much - and I've yet to come across an x-piped granturismo S in person

Thank you for your asking. It changes the sound to a deeper earthier sound for sure. It is very hard for me to say how you are going to hear or interpret how each person hears the sound. I can tell you it does not make it sound like an American muscle car that I have heard.
