Hi Fellows,

Thoughts on below LED Steering Wheel?

Main Concerns Are:

Battery Issues in the Long-run
Installation Difficulty

Would appreciate some insights.

"Main concern" should be broadsiding that white car in about 0.01 seconds 🤪

Looks pretty cool, I guess the red ones activate somehow during shifts ? Are there additional indicator lights on it, or just what's seen in the photo ?

As for battery draw or the installation .. I have no clue, others here will no doubt provide some input.

Thanks Dan,

The LED indicators toggle on RPM increase, pretty much like the 488 pista.
They also have the indicator function and odometer integrated as shown below.

Yes, that’s really nice, neither overdone nor too distracting . IMO.

On the other hand , this one is a distraction ..and when your least need to be distracted

Just found this video of the steering wheel features: 1.RPM indicating lights;⠀ 2.Driving Speed Data⠀ 3.Temperature of Water/Oil;⠀ 4.Fuel Consumption Data;⠀ 5.Battery Status;⠀ 6.Engine Loading;⠀ And these datas could be different for different cars And there some additional advanced functions as below:⠀ 1.Turning Signal Indicating;⠀ 2.Emergency Lights Indicating;⠀ 3.Parking Assistance⠀

The turn signal indicators on the wheel look useful to me. I drive with them on all the time as I can't hear them over that sweet engine sound.

Not a fan, doesn’t fit the vibe of the GranTurismo, too sporty/race car ish. Belongs on a hyper car

Agree and disagree . I am not a fan of carbon fiber ( anywhere outside or inside ) which I also don’t think belongs on a luxury grand touring car , but , if you have a bunch of carbon fiber accents / trims in your GT anyway I think this wheel’s additional lights scheme does not take the look over the top, it’s just a little “busier“ .. IMHO ( well, maybe without the H, I‘m not all that humble ..😜 )
Besides, it’s all subjective , right ..?

Haha Yeah I can see that, with the carbon trim the case can be made for it, and it would definitely make the interior feel ‘newer’… On a side note- wasn’t the Enzo the first to have this type of led wheel?

I like it but also like the way our cars look stock so am indifferent but I do find it neat that people have the option to swap out their radios, ac panel, push start, dash, or even steering wheel if they like the alternatives better

A fancy steering wheel wont make it go any faster -
I'd spend the $2k on something else ......

The one thing I would love to have, but integrated into the steering wheel. This demo, he still used the original turn signal stalk to activate the signal, though it did display on the wheel.

So you purchased a $2k steering with that doesn't come with installation instructions? Call the manufacturer.
