Wow, what a fantastic day I had yesterday as a guest of Maserati UK and my dealer (Dick Lovett). My wife and I spent the afternoon (with 25 other owners and potential owners) at the Millbrook Proving Ground where we had the opportunity to put the GS and the QP Executive and QP Sport through their paces.
I managed 140mph on the mile straight and got the GS upto 155mph on the banked bowl track. They had a couple of Italian race drivers there to show us what the GS can do on the race track - an amazing experience. Also there was the 'Alpine' track which simulates winding steep alpine roads where we drove the GS and QP's pretty hard. There was even a blind hill on the Alpine track where all the wheels left the ground!
If you are in the UK and get the opportunity to attend one of these days, grab it with both hands! Thanks Maserati and Dick Lovett.

So that is where it went !!

Surf..........no doubt driving the Silver QP I was promised for this week!!

My Gransport is in Lovett Cardiff having the clutch replaced and I was down for the Silver QP. On the day I took it in lots of apologies but Simon the Sales Manager had to take it Millbrook for someone called Surfnirvana to cane it all day.... only joking.

They did put me into a brand new Gransport so I cant complain too much.

Having had the thing for a few days it is amazing how much more you discover about the handling when it is'nt yours..............if you know what I mean.

Wot courtesy Car?????

When my GS was in the dealer for a month this time (just got it back), the 13th time it has been to the dealer for warranty faults in 1st year of life, I was not offered a courtesy car. Funnily enough, every other time, I was not offered a car.To add salt to the wounds, the car needed 4 new tyres at the same time and they offered no discount or goodwill.

Seems like you guys at least have sympathetic dealers. Everytime my car has been picked up, they have driven it (would not put on transporter or trailer), so over 15% of it's driven life has been done by others, not me!!.

Must admit my love affair has been somewhat soured!

Judging by some of the responses on this site I have to say that I, and few others seem to be very lucky to be using Dick Lovett Cardiff / Swindon.

You dont get a brand new Maserati every time you are in the dealership but if they chuck it in the mix every now and again then they keep me as a very happy customer.
