Major Kudos to everyone at Maserati North America on their generous hospitality shown to owners during the Monterey Weekend. MNA hosted a Rally that started off at the Bernardus Lodge in Carmel Valley for coffee provided by Nespresso.

Then about a 20 mile Police Escorted Rally through picturesque back roads to the Bernardus Winery for Breakfast: While we were enjoying an excellent breakfast, the staff from MNA placed a gift bag in each participant’s car. Inside the gift bag was nice Maserati hat, cappuccino cups and a Microsoft Zune!

Big surprise, my daughter grabbed the Zune in 3 seconds, my wife the cups and I got the hat. From it was a another Police escorted rally led by Doug Magnone’s MC12 followed by 30 + vintage and modern Maseratis to the Historic Races at Laguna Seca.

MNA arranged for an exclusive Maserati parking area in the infield and had a hospitality tent for lunch at turn 4 with elevated seating and video coverage of the races. The whole Rally was filmed by Speed to be aired as part of their Monterey Weekend coverage.

MNA put on a First Class event, and everyone that attended will be counting the days till next year.

Sure, Joe. Tell me NOW! Couldn't have made it this year anyway, but I gonna have to try harder to free up some time next year. Sounds like it was a blast.

P.S. Just realized that the last time I attended Pebble was 2004!. Man, where did the time go?

P.S.S.: Understand a Merak SS sold on the block for low $30K.? Good deal or too much?
