antifreeze/washer fluid smell
Are you sure that the antifreeze smell is actually antifreeze and not windscreen washer fluid? On my other cars the windscreen washer fluid gives off a nice smell for a short time as it filters down the hotter regions under the windscreen.
BTW I once got a lot of windscreen washer fluid leak. I took off the wheel and wheel housing covers (plastic) and used the intensive function and turned out that the rubber hose end cap had come off (design flaw) I placed a screw and capped it off with a jubilee clip and fixed it. It appears that the pressure was too high.
