I've had the Tubi since Thursday of last week and my driving life has changed.

The tubi truly does complete the car. I can't even begin to describe how much more fun I have with the new exhaust system. The streets are like a playground. I look for tunnels, underpasses etc. Quiet streets and those boardmember/neighbors that make up the canyon homeowner association where I live.... Hello.

Yes its me in the dead quiet canyon at 11pm breaking the silence. :D

I had my brother drive by me while I taped him with a small recorder/digital dictation machine. Once I learn how to download it, I will post it. The driveby sounds awesome.

Congrats, I know how you feel. I fixed mine 2 mnths ago and I still get the same kick. In fact I was driving a basement carpark when car alarms started going off, did not realise that it was the Tubi doing all that, till my buddy pointed it out. Later the bunch of us , another 4200 and two F1360 all fitted with Tubi decided to all "drive" by ....................Enjoy the Tubi and for anyone even hesitating, you are missing out BIG TIME !

I have a Spyder that just recently got upgraded with a Tubi. Personally, I LOVE the sound. It is rather loud in a convertible, perhaps excessively so at times (depending on your own taste). I live in a quiet neighborhood, and the car is loud enough at low RPM that I have decided personally that I won't drive it through the neighborhood at night (after 11pm at least).

If you have doubts, I would recommend driving a Maserati that has one, if you can. Sound is such a subjective experience that you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't try it out before purchasing one. If you live near Tulsa, OK I'd be happy to take you out in mine.

Tubi

I test drove a coupe with the Tubi when I bought mine. Too loud for my taste on the coupe. I find the stock system just right-- not too loud and not too soft.

By comparison, I previously had a 996 coupe. The stock system was way too soft. The Factory Sport system was just right.

I also had a C5 I wound up modifying into a 383 stroker with headers, no cats and Corsa Touring exhaust-- WAY too loud!

My daily driver is now a '04 GTO-- the exhaust note is also spot on in stock form for me.

I have some quality soundclips that I will try and post soon hopefully. The task of editing them, removing the unwanted audio & silent sections from each recording then downloading is proving to be difficult. The digital recorder i am using is really for a professional musician so I need to visit the dealer for more instructions.

Eventually I hope to share some quality audio clips.

OK I just purchased a 05 spyder and LOVE the soud of the TUBI. My wife loves the sound and is a pleasure to drive. Yes they know you are coming but that is what it is all about. Do not hesitate in getting TUBI love it and it sound wonderful. On the freeway we have driven it and no problem. My neighbers also love it and know we are coming. Good luck and do not let the sound put you off.

I have had tubi on my coupe gt since purchase and cannot imagine the vehicle without it.
the baritone rumble is amazingly characteristic.
My neighbors come out of their houses when they hear the rumble just to hear me (and see me) drive by.
i strongly endorse the tubi.
next step is to see if ansi tups can be mated to the tubi effectively without adversely impacting performance
