As there are not many resources on the web for our cars this forum is pretty invaluable for all of us. I suggest we set up a 'do it yourself' section where members can post step by step pictures and instructions for different mods and tasks.
I for one would like to see an IPOD-Icelink installation post complete with pictures for dummies.
Also I wouldn't mind one for removing the center console...I can't seem to find the 3rd and 4th screws to unhook it from the top end. :D

Agree! My nearest dealer is almost 300 miles away and I think it'd be extremely valuable.

btw Andrew if you're reading this I'm going to give you a call tommorow. I've been real busy lately no time.

I agree some DIY topics would be great but I'd like to keep them in this section (or the model section they are related to, ie if the DIY is for a Bi-Turbo, etc).

If we have a DIY section with lots of tech info on all the models, it will mean less organization of information IMO. As it is now ALL topics related to modern cars should go here. Therefore, when a new user is looking for info on the GranSport they can find everything, including DIY, about the GranSport in one easy to find place.

I'm gonna have to agree with Andrew. Eventually threads that might have started as a question about exhaust end up with DIY instructions on how to create your own, that sort of thing. A good search function, and maybe a sticky note at the top of the section explaining this (maybe with some preset search links) would work far better.

You can always add DIY to your subject as well.

That I think is a good idea. Just start the subject with [DIY] then the message.

This way all the stuff about the GranSport is on one place and so forth. As the site grows I will also consider expanding the forum to keep it more organized.
