The Maserati/Ferrari area was my 1st stop & I met the new events coordinator who invited me into the roped off area. I've been trying to decide between an SL500, the new Jag & a Maser but after seeing them under one roof, it's the Maser for me! (I was happy I didn't find the Jag as pretty in person as I've seen in print.) Here are a couple of pics (I hope)...

I think u have made the right choice. Was thinking of buying an SL to replace my SLK but after much deliberation, i decided against it. Nice drive and all but the SL 500 only produces 320bhp, that is rather disappointing isnt it? Not really worth the price as well, even the SL 55AMG doesnt handle that well, even though its got tonnes of power at its wheels.

Think the new jag is not bad in terms of shape and styling, but jags dont always have the kind of drive u are looking for if u actually enjoy track days and driving your car hard.

The maser on the other hand is more of a driver's car. Something which u can race in as well as drive to the supermarket. It is something which would grow on you day by day without getting tired.

the real question should be...

coupe or spyder (GS of course)?

i have a spyder and let me tell ya, it's scary coming back from old town @ 95 mph on 110. coupe is rigid and corners better.

DEFINATELY go for the Maserati. GS if possible. I was also at the L.A. auto show. I almost bought a Ferrari just to impress the girl they had working the booth!

Seriously, I have had an SL and CLK55 a Porsche Carrera and the GS is not in the same class. The GS has it all. It is the best exotic daily driver you can buy for the money.

Have fun!

ive driven them all

I have an E55, SL55, and an S55. THE GS COupe is by the far the funnest to drive. THe Benz is know for comfort power, and yes they are fast. But man the GS goes into turns faster and undet more control than any of the others.

Go Maserati!!!!

I saw the new jag as well. It was a step in the right direction for jaguar, but I still prefer the maserati.

I cant recall the interior colors of the maserati's but do recall they went a little too heavy with the red leather on the ferrari's

If you decide on the maserati, be sure to have a tubi installed. it adds alot of fun to the car.
