Quatroporte 2008 gts. My battery has run flat. I removed it and recharged it. I opened the car with the key lock on the door and started the car normally; reset all the settings radio time etc. everything works the only thing I can’t get to work is the remote door opening with a key fob. And again although I can use the lock to start stop alarm, open the door and also start the car. Is there a way to reset or reconnect the fob to work remotely?

Since now I have the same issue.
Does someone know how to fix this?

I opened the door manually with the key, closed it, hold the key in closed position for about 10 seconds, opened it. Hold the key in opened position for about 10 seconds. The system resetted itself. The remote works again and my trunk works again aswell.

Dear Marnix, I'm facing a problem the same as yours.
My English is not good, so I'm not sure if I understand what you mean correctly.
"Hold the key in opened position" means to hold the "unlock" button on the keyfob for 10 sec? or does it mean the opening/closing status of the door, so I just grab the key and stand there count seconds?
Much appreciated if anyone can guide me!
