What kind of receiver are you talking about? A portable with a dock? Or a "brain" that plugs into the head unit?

If you need to mount something externally to see and control the satellite tuner, I would recommend talking to a custom car audio shop, not Best Buy. There is always a place to mount something, as long as you're OK with the look.

I hope to have my Kenwood expansion gear in place shortly, with Sirius and an iPod controller. I'll post a report.

Speaking from experience, I would never let Best Buy touch your car.. The only franchise like that who actually has half-way decent installers is Sound Advice, but even still they are far from phenomenal.. I would go with a hard wired unit into the stereo though, rather than the removable type, its just classier.. Eric

to see if they could install a Sirius satellite radio and bottom line, it cannot be done as there is nowhere inside the car to put the small receiver.

Has anyone actually installed satellite radio in this model car?
You can mount the unit above the shifter in the flat spot where the rubber is...

What area again are you? You might want to scratch or return the install card and pay a good shop to install this unit for you...
